Otunba Oluwadare Owolabi has framed his bid for the Ekiti North Senatorial District seat around a platform of accessible, people-centered leadership and inclusive development.
Known locally as Ìràwò Òwúrò, Owolabi said his vision is anchored on integrity, responsiveness, and a commitment to translating residents’ needs into concrete action. In a statement released by the Dare Owolabi Media Office, the campaign said Ekiti North requires a representative who understands daily realities and can ensure that development reaches all communities.

“Strong leadership requires courage and consistency,” the statement said, noting that Owolabi’s approach is built on listening, collaboration, and broad stakeholder engagement.
The campaign outlined priority areas including youth and family empowerment, infrastructure development, and support for local enterprises. Owolabi said his focus is on initiatives that create tangible economic and social opportunities across the district’s five local government areas: Oye, Ikole, Ido-Osi, Moba, and Ilejemeje.
The statement emphasized unity as central to the campaign’s direction, calling for collective effort toward responsible representation and sustainable progress.
“Ìsèdálè Èkìtì Òkè á gbè á… Àse,” the statement concluded, an Ekiti expression meaning “The foundation of Ekiti North shall be firmly established.”
Owolabi is seeking the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket for the upcoming senatorial election.
