₦49M ZONAL INTERVENTION PROJECTS: ADC Candidate, Fayose Demands Accountability From Hon. Olusola Fatoba

… Otunba Fayose Asks: “Where Are The Drugs And Solar Inverters For Ado/Irepodun-Ifelodun Constituents?”

The Campaign described the matter as one of public interest and transparency, urging the lawmaker to furnish constituents with verifiable evidence of project execution.

According to budgetary records, the following projects were captured for the constituency in the 2026 Appropriation:

1. Project No. 7267 | Code: ERGP 25238365

Supply and Provision of Drugs to Some Health Centres in Ado Ekiti/Irepodun-Ifelodun Federal Constituency, Ekiti State- ₦14,000,000

2. Project No. 6409 | Code: ERGP 10238822

Supply and Installation of Solar-Powered Inverters in Some Police Stations in Ado/Irepodun-Ifelodun Federal Constituency, Ekiti State — ₦35,000,000

The Campaign is seeking clarity on the status and implementation of the projects.

1. Have the projects been completed as appropriated?

2. Which health centres received drugs? Which police stations received solar inverters?

3.  Can details of items supplied, quantities, delivery notes, and photographic evidence be made public?

4. Who were the contractors, and when were the projects completed?

5.  How much was actually disbursed and expended on each project?

“A ₦14 million drug-supply project is not just a budget line. It concerns patients who need treatment in our health centres. A ₦35 million solar-inverter project concerns the operational capacity of our police stations,” the statement said.

The Campaign stressed that public representatives are trustees of public resources and constituents have a right to demand transparency on projects designed to improve their welfare.

The Organisation also drew attention to the ₦56 million appropriated for the Construction of Iworoko Town Hall, listed for execution by the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti. It urged stakeholders in Iworoko-Ekiti to demand an update on the status of that project.

The Otunba Emmanuel Fayose Campaign Organisation called on Hon. Fatoba to, as a matter of urgency, publish a comprehensive report on the two ZIP projects, including locations, beneficiaries, and proof of delivery.

“We believe in issue-based politics and responsible representation. The people of Ado/Irepodun-Ifelodun deserve to know what has become of their collective resources,” the statement added.

The Campaign reaffirmed its commitment to purposeful representation, transparency, and accountability if given the mandate in 2027.
