President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday momentarily stumbled during a ceremonial march-past organised to receive him at the parade ground in Türkiye.
The incident occurred as the President joined the guard of honour, briefly drawing attention before the event continued smoothly without any disruption.

A video shared on X by Turkish digital news platform Nefes Gazetesi showed President Tinubu walking alongside Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan when he lost his balance and stumbled.
He was promptly assisted by security operatives, after which the ceremony proceeded as scheduled.
The official reception began around 5:00 pm local time with the playing of the national anthems of Nigeria and Türkiye, followed by a 21-gun salute in honour of the visiting President.
After the ceremonial activities, President Tinubu and President Erdoğan retired for a closed-door bilateral meeting to discuss issues of mutual and strategic interest between both countries.
The visit marks President Tinubu’s first official trip to Türkiye and comes as a reciprocal engagement following President Erdoğan’s visit to Nigeria in October 2021 during the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
