The Birmingham Fashion Council, recognized for its stewardship of Birmingham Fashion Week, presented a collaborative exhibition in 2025 that brought together designers, photographers, and visual artists from across the UK. Among the featured contributors was KAFAMO, a London-based fashion label founded and directed by Aderogba Alqawil.
The exhibition marked a significant milestone in the brand’s UK trajectory, placing its work within a professionally curated and regionally significant cultural platform.
The showcase highlighted KAFAMO’s design language through a selection of garments, including tracksuits that explored proportion and movement, knitted pieces emphasizing texture and craftsmanship, and signature Angel Tees that anchored the brand’s visual identity.
By integrating these collections into the broader curatorial narrative, KAFAMO demonstrated its ability to contribute meaningfully to multidisciplinary exhibitions while maintaining a distinct creative voice.
