Hon. Fatoba Empowers Traders, Farmers, Party Members To Boost Their Businesses

By Samuel Sunday

Speaking at the event held in Ado-Ekiti, the State capital on Friday, Fatoba  emphasized that representation is about giving back to society and alleviating constituents’ hardships.

“This programme aligns with the Renewed Hope Agenda and is focused on business empowerment. We want the funds invested in productive ventures so they grow and generate value for the community,” he said.

Beneficiaries, carefully selected from all 24 wards across Ado, Irepodun, and Ifelodun local governments, include traders, farmers, and artisans. The lawmaker urged them to avoid using the grants for personal consumption but channel the money into expanding their businesses, whether in trading, farming, or craftsmanship.

The empowerment programme attracted party leaders, local government officials, youth and women leaders, and other stakeholders from the All Progressives Congress (APC). Fatoba Steve thanked his constituents for their loyalty and support for the governor, the president, and the party, reiterating his commitment to grassroots development.

Local government and party officials, including the Chairman of Ado Local Government and APC leaders from Irepodun/Ifelodun, encouraged beneficiaries to utilize the grants responsibly. They highlighted the lawmaker’s previous achievements, particularly in the education sector, where students benefited from initiatives such as laptop distributions.

Speaking with newsmen, beneficiaries expressed gratitude, noting that the lawmaker had fulfilled his promise and demonstrated genuine concern for their welfare. Party leaders also used the occasion to reaffirm support for Governor Biodun Oyebanji, describing him as a credible candidate with a strong grassroots presence.

The programme concluded with Steve Fatoba  paying homage to party leaders and constituents, while ward delegates completed documentation for grant distribution, ensuring each beneficiary received their support according to their respective wards.
