The youths of Ikole Local Government, together with concerned citizens across Ekiti North Senatorial District, have issued a united call for change in the upcoming senatorial representation.
In a statement signed by the Ikole Local Government Youth United Front, the group emphasized the need for vibrant, effective, and people-centered leadership, citing Otunba Dare Owolabi as their preferred candidate.
The statement reads: “Ekiti North deserves vibrant, effective, and people-centered representation. Leadership is a trust given by the people. When that trust is not felt in the lives of the people, the people have the right to ask for a new direction.”
The group commended Otunba Dare Owolabi’s generosity, compassion, and dedication to the people, urging party leaders to consider his candidature for the senatorial seat.
“We believe Otunba Dare Owolabi represents a fresh beam of hope for Ekiti North – a leader who understands the struggles of the common man and is prepared to speak boldly for the district at the national level,” the statement added.
The youths appealed to Governor Biodun Oyebanji and other party leaders to listen to the voice of the grassroots and consider Otunba Dare Owolabi’s candidature.
