The Chairman, Ekiti State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board, Rev (Dr)Emmanuel Adeyinka Aribasoye has applauded the decision of the All Progressive Congress (APC) to affirm the incumbent governor of the State, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji as its consensus candidate for the next year gubernatorial election in Ekiti State after his emergence as the party’s sole contestant for the top seat.
The cleric who doubles as the Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) opined that the emergence of the governor could only be divine and as a result of his dedication which had resulted in historic infrastructural overhaul, unprecedented human capital development and politics of inclusion which had all directly imparted the lives of Ekiti people.
Aribasoye congratulated the governor for recording an unprecedented feat in the history of Nigeria and Ekiti politics noting that the lifestyle of the governor in term of commitment to infrastructural developments, welfare of civil servants and pensioners, empowerment of small businesses owners and industrialization of the state was commendable .
He also applauded the Deputy governor, Mrs Monisade Afuye for her unwavering loyalty to her boss and diligence in her roles as the supervisor of the Ekiti’s Christian pilgrimage organ.
The Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board Chairman pledged the support of Christians in the State for the Oyebanji administration while charging him not to rest on his oars.
