The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced October 28 as the opening date for its recruitment portal, which will close on November 13.
The board’s Secretary, retired Major General Abdul Malik Jibril, disclosed the dates in Abuja on Thursday.

Jibril also directed applicants who had reached the oral interview stage of the ongoing recruitment exercise to check their recruitment status and complete a mandatory drug test organised in collaboration with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
According to him, candidates are expected to undergo the test in their respective states or places of residence. He added that the exercise would be conducted free of charge.
The directive requires candidates who have progressed to the oral stage to confirm their status and comply with the drug-testing requirement as part of the recruitment process.
Prospective applicants are expected to take note of the announced dates and ensure that they submit their applications within the period the portal will be open.
Candidates already participating in the recruitment exercise should also follow the board’s instructions on checking their status and completing the required screening.
The CDCFIB oversees recruitment and related personnel matters for the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, the Nigerian Correctional Service, the Federal Fire Service and the Nigeria Immigration Service.
Applicants should rely on official board announcements for further information about the recruitment process and any additional requirements.
