The Citizens in Politics Assembly (CIPA) today congratulates President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his commanding victory at the All Progressives Congress Presidential Primary held Saturday, May 23, 2026 a resounding mandate of 10.99 million votes that signals the party’s unequivocal confidence in his leadership.
In a joint statement issued by CIPA National Coordinator, Dr. Abigail Olagbaye, and Director of Media, Mr. Ayodele Abere, the group described the outcome as more than an electoral result, it is a verdict on governance.

“This victory is a ringing endorsement of President Tinubu’s bold reforms and his vision for a stronger Nigeria,” the statement read. “The electorate have spoken, and their voices echo the aspirations of millions of Nigerians who believe the work of renewal must continue.”
CIPA noted that a second term will give the administration the runway to complete the structural reforms set in motion during its first reforms that, the group argues, are already reshaping Nigeria’s economic and institutional foundations.
The assembly called on APC members and all Nigerians of goodwill to close ranks, unite behind the President, and support the push for lasting national development.
“Nigeria is at an inflection point. This is not the moment to waver, it is the moment to consolidate,” the statement concluded.
