The All Progressives Congress (APC) has scheduled its National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting for July 24, 2025, with the major agenda being the nomination of a new national chairman.
This was disclosed by the party’s Deputy National Secretary, Barr. Festus Fuanter, shortly after the National Working Committee (NWC) meeting held on Monday at the APC national secretariat in Abuja.
Fuanter noted that official notice of the planned NEC meeting has been duly communicated to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Meanwhile, the party has appointed the Deputy National Chairman (North), Hon. Ali Bukar Dalori, as the Acting National Chairman. He assumed the position formally on Monday.
Dalori steps in following the resignation of Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, who voluntarily stepped down as national chairman last Friday.
