Wole Olanipekun Restates Commitment To  Development Of BOUESTI … Commends Adeoluwa, BOUESTI Management, For Purposeful Leadership

Legal luminary and Chairman of the Nigerian Body of Benchers, Chief Wole Olanipekun (SAN) has reiterated his avowed commitment to the devellopment of the Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology, Ikere-Ekiti.  Chief Olanipekun, who is the Chancellor of the University, recently reaffirmed this during the commissioning of the Ultra modern High Court Complex built by him and donated to the Ekiti State Judiciary.

Reeling out his streams of achievements and Interventions in all spheres of human endeavours, the renowned Senior Advocate said he considered his appointment as Chancellor of BOUESTI by the Ekiti State Government as another opportunity to render selfless service devoid of pecuniary gains and make meaningful contributions to the Ekiti State owned Ivory Tower just like he had done in other Universities like University of Ibadan and Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo, where he serves as Pro-Chancellor.

Prof. Adeolu

He said that nothing would be spared in making the University one of the best in the Country. He noted with enthusiasm and satisfaction that, within two years of its estabĺishment, the University has grown tremendously in all ramifications with burgeoning student  enrolment, academic engagements and fast recognition by world ranking bodies, thus earning the sobriquet of the fastest growing new University in Nigeria.

Chief Olanipekun assured that he would fulfill his promise to build a magnificent Senate building for the University.

According to him, the project was delayed by the construction of the High Court complex which was a matter of urgent necessity because of the deplorable state of the old High Court building in Ikere-Ekiti which made it almost impossible for Judges and Lawyers to carry out their duties.

He said “Arraignments had reached advanced stage in preparation for the ground-breaking ceremony for the Senate building when the need to have a befitting High Court Complex in Ikere, my hometown arose as the existing structure had become uninhabitable for judges and lawyers to carry out their duties in the Temple of Justice”.

Chief Olanipekun lauded the Vice- Chancellor of the institution, Professor Olufemi Adeoluwa, whom he described as a dynamic, pragmatic and aggressive young man, and his Management team for working tirelessly to place the University on a higher pedestal of global recognition.
