Popular governor loses mother

This was contained in a statement issued by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Hamisu Gumel, in Dutse.

Maryam Namadi passed away in the early hours of Wednesday and was laid to rest in Kafinhausa town at about 4:00 p.m., in line with Islamic rites.

The funeral prayer was attended by a large gathering of residents, who offered their condolences to the governor and his family during this time of mourning.
