Philanthropist, HRH Olatunde Oginni Donates Conveniences Facility To Police In Ibadan

In a bid to create more conducive environment for the officers and men of the Nigeria Police, a philanthropist and traditional leader, HRH Oba Olatunde Oginni JP has built and donated a block of two conveniences facilities for the Central Police Station, Iyaganku Area Command, Ibadan, Oyo State.

The conveniences, which consist of two toilets were built by the business mogul and was commissioned by the Commissioner of Police, CP Adebola Hamzat who was represented by the Deputy Commissioner in charge of Administration, DCP Bello Adams Mohammed on Thursday, 16th November, 2023, inside Iyaganku, Ibadan.

The donor who was represented by the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) Zonal Chairman for Zone XI, Otunba Obafemi Arowosola at the commissioning, in his remarks said, the welfare of the Nigeria Police remains paramount to him because of many friends he has among them, adding that he’s always ready to contribute and assist the officers of the law in any possible way to appreciates what they do.

The Traditional Leader who is also known as Mojejo, however dedicated the convenience facilities to ACP (Otunba) Olusola Agoyi, the Area Commander of Iyaganku Area Command, the inscription on the plaque erected at the toilet reads, “the ACP is a good friend and in recognition of his good work since he assumed duty as the Area commander”.

The Commissioner of Police who was represented by DCP Mohammed thanked the donor describing his gesture as a timely intervention to improve sanitation within the Iyaganku Area Command which according to him will go a long way to ease the stress of the seniors Police officers that will be utilizing the facilities.
