OYEBANJI’S BIRTHDAY: SSG, Adubiaro Donates Food Items To Government Special School Of Blind

The Secretary to Ekiti State Government, Dr. Mrs Habibat Adubiaro has donated food items to over 200 special students of Government Special school for the Blind, Ikere Ekiti.

The State scribe who said the donated food items and other materials were in commemoration of the State Governor, Biodun Abayomi.

Oyebanji’s 55th birthday celebration. She expressed gratitude to God on behalf of the Governor for witnessing yet another birthday.

“Since His Excellency, Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, is celebrating his birthday today,reason we have gathered here. The fact that the Governor suggested that his birthday gift be diverted into charity for those with impairments demonstrates that he has you in mind. Adubiaro stated.

“In accordance with the Governor’s directive, we are here to offer these items to you and to reassure you that Gov. Biodun Oyebanji is committed to and will continue to prioritize your welfare.

Adubiaro in her speech further expressed that the donation was made in line with the Governor’s directive that everyone willing to celebrate his birthday by placing adverts on publications, holding parties

should divert the funds to helping the vulnerable in the society. Items donated to the school included packs of noodles, spaghetti, provisions and toiletries.

The Principal of the school, Mrs Bola Amogbonjaye appreciated the Secretary to the State Government for her kind donations and gesture.

She reiterated that the SSG has demonstrated rare love for the people with disabilities by celebrating the Governor’s birthday with them.

Amogbonjaye however implored the state government not to relent in its selfless services to humanity and mankind.

Speaking on behalf of the students, Benjamin Ajagunna expressed gratitude to the Governor for deeming it necessary to celebrate his birthday with people with disabilities in Ekiti State.  He thereby prayed for a successful tenure of the Governor.
