ONDO GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION: Kola Abiola Rally For PRP Candidate …vows Alli will deliver as governor

Addressing party supporters after the road walk at the PRP campaign Secretariat in Akure, Kola Abiola said Alli was endowed with strategic thinking, compassion, and ability to connect with the people.

Ondo State, according to him, needs a leader who can rally its citizens, listen to their concerns and lead with humility.

He described Alli as a man of the people who feels the pulse of Sunshiners, understands their needs, and has a story to tell.

Kola Abiola expressed confidence that Alli and his running mate, would complement each other and bring a positive transformation to governance in Ondo State.

He praised their humility and grassroots politicking, assuring that they will redefine and reshape the state’s governance for the better.

He noted that the PRP candidate is most qualified to assume the leadership of the state.

He continued: “What Ondo State needs is a strategic thinker, a builder, a man of the people, a man who can rally the great people of Sunshiners.

“Ondo State needs a man who will open his doors to the people, hear their cries and lead with the fear of God.

“Ondo does not need a man who knows it all. Ondo needs a man who feels the pulse of his people, knows where it hurts and has a story to tell in terms of where he is coming from.

“Ondo needs a compassionate leader, one who is in tune with the yearnings and aspirations of Ondo people. Ondo needs a leader with the tenacity and knack for radical change and influence.

On his part, the PRP Governorship candidate, Comrade Babatunde Francis Alli, outlined a comprehensive plan to address the state’s security challenges, both now and in the future, through robust communal development initiatives.

Alli said his strategy will begins with the immediate creation of 224 Community Development Areas (CDAs), domiciled at the 203 Political Wards with each encompassing not more than 33 polling units.

“This well thought-out initiative is expected to provide direct and indirect employment to about 1,500 residents, as the first line of attack on acute hunger and towards fostering economic integration among indigenes and non-indigenes”.

According to him the CDAs, which will fully incorporate the non-indigene community, will be tasked with crucial responsibilities including data collection, intelligence gathering, project supervision, and overall grassroots development.

Alli proposes the establishment of the Ministry of Internal Security, dedicated to coordinating state security efforts and fostering collaboration with national security agencies.

In his words “This ministry will end the era of superficial attention to security matters, addressing the root causes of security breaches in Ondo State”.

He highlights that the current peace in the state is simply akin to a “graveyard peace,” emphasizing the need for a proactive and well-prepared security strategy to accompany the anticipated economic revival under Agenda Three of his Five Point Agenda.
