ONDO ELECTION: Winner Set To Emerge As INEC Uploads 98% Results On Portal

As of 10:55 p.m., INEC had successfully transmitted results from 3,875 out of 3,933 polling units across the state, setting the stage for the collation and announcement of the final results.

However, the election process was tainted by widespread allegations of vote-buying, with reports of party supporters distributing money to voters near various polling stations.

Before the election, INEC had announced that 17 political parties would be participating, with a total of 1,793,914 registered voters expected to decide the outcome of the gubernatorial race.
