NEW MINIMUM WAGE: Rep. Kolawole Lauds Tinubu, Unions On Amicable Resolution

“There is no doubt, that the agreement was a needed sacrifice on both sides of Government and Workers inorder to move the Country forward especially in conformity with the current economic reality”.

Hon. Kolawole in a statement made available to newsmen in Ado Ekiti salutes President Tinubu’s courage and foresight at recording an amicable, peaceful and acceptable resolution on the matter.

Without mincing words, the latest development has again proved to all Nigerians irrespective of political or religious inclinations that, the APC led government in Nigeria is capable at solving some of the challenges facing the Country through a round table discussion and achieve desired results for the benefit of all.

It is therefore imperative for all Citizenry to continue to have confidence in the government through support and prayers as Tinubu led administration is determined on quick economic recovery for the Country through a pragmatic and get-to-bottom approach with the interest of the masses as a priority.

I can assure Nigerians that, many challenges facing the Country now, will soon become a thing of the past with the support of all, especially for President Tinubu saying, the President has been “walking the talks” in his determination to rebuild the nation.

Also, Nigerian Lawmakers will continue to support every bill that is aimed at promoting and enhancing harmonious working relationship between the Government and the Workers.

He however commended Nigerian Workers for their support for the present administration in the past and called for a continued ones saying, civil service remains a great impetus aspect of government that any responsible government must not toy with but rather to always create a conducive atmosphere in which the entire workforce could perform optimally.

While congratulating Nigerian Workers across board, Hon. Kolawole urged them to re-dedicate themselves towards achieving the “Renewed Hope Agenda” of the present administration to fast-track the development of the nation.

The Legislator also commended Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State for making the walfares of Workers in the state a priority since assumption of Office saying, the move has created an avenue for rapid development of the State and solicit more support for the Governor from the Civil Servants and all Ekiti Citizens.

“To whom much is given, much is expected so they say, therefore, it is through hardwork, commitment and sincerity to duties that government welfares and incentives for Nigerian Workers could be justified, Kolawole concluded.
