The National Examinations Council (NECO) has released the results of the 2024 Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) for external candidates.
Announcing the results, NECO’s Registrar and Chief Executive, Professor Dantani Wushishi, revealed that 57,114 candidates secured credits in English and Mathematics, representing a 67.53% pass rate.
A total of 86,067 candidates sat for the exam, with a notable 27.7% reduction in malpractice cases compared to 2023. NECO recorded 6,160 cases of malpractice this year.
The results were processed and released within 62 days, reflecting an improvement in efficiency.
