Matriculation: FUOYE VC Urges Parents To Offset Students Outstanding Fees     …. Matriculates 7,300 Students

The Vice Chancellor of the Federal University, Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) Prof.Abayomi Fasina, has urged parents of the newly admitted students of the university to offset all outstanding school fees within two weeks.

Fasina gave the advice in his address of welcome during the 2022/ 2023 Matriculation ceremony of the university held in Oye-Ekiti campus.

The VC said the deadline for the payment of the school fees has passed but that, he would give the grace of two weeks to the newly admitted 100 level students to pay all their outstanding bills.

The University boss said the management would not accept instalmental payment as the admission process of the students started since Nov. 2022.

“I want to urge parents to offset all outstanding school fees of their children within two weeks.

“The payment of the school fees of the newly admitted 100 level students is already overdue because their admission process started since Nov. 2022 and there was enough time for them to pay then.

“The school fees is very important to us because we are going to use it to pay bills in the university and we will not take instalmental payment, we can allow it for 200, 300, 400 and 500 level students.

“Any newly admitted student of the university who doesn’t pay his or her school fees is not a bonafide student of FUOYE. Such student will forfeit his or her studentship,” he said.

Fasina appealed to parents to be serious with the education of their children and invest possibly in their future career.

A total number of 7,300 students got admitted into the university for 2022/2023 academic session.
