One of the Senior Legislative Aides to the Senate President. Hon. Prince Ben Akinola (JP), has rejoiced with the Senate Leader of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator (Dr) Michael Opeyemi Bamidele (CON), over his recent elevation as Life Bencher.
In a statement made available to journalists in his home town, Ilawe-Ekiti in Ekiti South West Local Government Area of Ekiti State on Thursday, the Senior Legislative Aide to the Deputy Senate President says, the elevation of the Senate Leader to the Body didn’t come by chance, but by a dint of hardwork considering his antecedents as an experienced lawyer, and leader of the Senate.
It could be recalled that the Body of Benchers chaired by Chief Adegboyega Awomolo (SAN), on January 25, 2025 at the meeting of the Body in Abuja confirmed Senator Bamidele as life Bencher amongst others.
Hinging this milestone on the significant roles the Senate Leader has been playing as a lawyer and lawmaker, which didn’t go unnoticed, Prince Ben Akinola therefore prayed God to grant the distinguished Senator long life in sound health to witness and enjoy more success in the land of the living.
