Iran Unveils Plan to Counter Trump’s ‘Maximum Pressure’ Strategy

Presidential spokeswoman Mohajerani disclosed this while addressing journalists at the presidential compound, stating that Iran had anticipated Trump’s approach.

“The administration has a solid strategy to strengthen the economy, and with the people’s support, we will overcome these challenges,” she said.

She highlighted the government’s focus on private sector growth, domestic production, and regional partnerships to neutralize the effects of U.S. sanctions.

Reaffirming Iran’s stance, she emphasized that while Iranians are open to negotiations, they will not bow to pressure.

Trump recently vowed to reinstate his Maximum Pressure policy, which he first implemented after withdrawing from the 2015 nuclear deal, the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), in 2018.
