Gospel Music Helps In Rebranding Christians  — GOMAN National President

The National President of the Gospel Musician Association of Nigeria (GOMAN), Pastor Philip Olayiwola, has explained that spiritual hymns is a guide and God giving commandments to propagate the world of God.

Speaking in Ado-Ekiti today, he said the association will continue to do everything within its capacity by using music to unite the church and use its strong tool for national renaissance, bringing sanity to the insanity that has no positive, moral content and external value.

The GOMAN President said the association which was formed over 40-year ago with about ten thousand members all over the country was in Ekiti State to propagate the gospel of God and in Nigeria as a whole.

Speaking earlier, the Chairman GOMAN Anniversary Committee, Ekiti State, Pastor Ebun Famubode, emphasised the importance of gospel music in christian religion, the Gospel Musician explained that gospel music, apart from evangelise and win more soul, helps in rebranding Christians. 

She quoted several passages from the Holy Bible to support his claims, the popular Gospel Musician reiterated the readiness of the association to continue in spreading the message of love, hope, faith and compassion.

Speaking further on the programme slated to hold in Great Covenant Center, Ado-Ekiti, he explained that the event would also featured activities such as presentation of awards, thanksgiving service, rally and prossession among other activities.

She explained that the former National President of the Gospel Musician Association of Nigeria (GOMAN), Evangelist Bola Are and Funmi Aragbaye, were among other Gospel Musicians that would be in Ekiti for the 20th years anniversary of  GOMAN Ekiti State chapter.

Other notable Musicians mentioned by him were Apostle Timi Orokoya and Kayode Afolabo.
