Foundation Empowers Underprivileged Children With Annual Back To School Drive

The Menitos Charity Foundation has officially launched its fundraising for its Annual Back to School Drive, aimed at empowering underprivileged children in their educational pursuits.

The foundation drive serves as a crowd-funding platform to provide school essentials like notebooks, textbooks, bags, and other required items, ensuring that disadvantaged students stay in school and do not face drop-out situations.

The program, aptly named “Back to School,” is an annual event that plays a pivotal role in supplying essential school materials to underprivileged children.

The Founder of the Menitos Charity Foundation, Ms. Daramola Toluwalope, said the beneficiaries, mostly identified through schools and community engagement events, are invited to a central venue where they receive notebooks, textbooks, past examination papers, clothing, shoes, and school bags.

She added that this endeavor not only equips children with the necessary tools for education but also fosters hope and motivation for their academic journey.

Meanwhile, in a bid to improve school attendance among disadvantaged children, Menitos Charity Foundation runs the “School Lunch Intervention” program by offering nutritious meals to children who attend school regularly. The organization incentivizes parents to prioritize education for their children.

This initiative not only tackles hunger-related barriers to education but also fosters a supportive environment that values and nurtures children’s overall well-being.

Menitos Charity Foundation’s unwavering dedication to eradicating child abuse is instrumental in shaping a brighter future for communities in need. Through their multifaceted approach, they empower children, families, and entire neighborhoods to break free from the cycle of abuse and fostering a society where every child can thrive and reach their full potential.

Funding for the numerous project is through voluntary donations and sponsorship from people who support the vision to reduce and possibly eradicate school drop out rates in Nigeria.
