Fed Poly Ado-Ekiti, Begins First Semester Examinations

The Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State has begun the first semester examinations for  2022/2023 academic session in the various departments including the Continuing Education Centre of the Institution.

Our correspondent gathered that the students were very ready for the examinations which started on Monday, 22nd May, 2023, as confirmed by the Chairman of the Examination Conduct and Monitoring Committee, Engr. (Dr.) Olusola Akinsanya.

Dr. Akinsanya, stated that the Management of the Institution had put in place every necessary logistics to ensure an enabling environment and hitch – free examinations.

The students were well comported and compliant with regulations guiding the conduct under supervision by examination officials in the classrooms visited. 

Earlier, a memo has been issued by the Deputy Registrar, Academic Affairs, Mr. Sunday Akomolafe, as directed by the Rector of the Institution, Dr. Temitope Alake, asking all students that had paid their school fees to be allowed to access their examination permits to enable them to sit for the examinations, while other fees payable be made at the point of registering for the second semester of the 2022/2023 session.

The memo has it that the directive hinges on the appeal made by the Students’ Union Leaders who had earlier informed that some students were having hitches paying some of the prescribed fees.
