Mr Yomi Ayorinde, a former Chairman, Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON) in Ekiti, has congratulated the president-elect, Sen. Bola Tinubu, and his Vice, Sen. Kashim Shettima on their victory in the February 25 presidential election, describing the feat as well-deserved.
Ayorinde in a congratulatory message released in Ado-Ekiti, expressed delight that Nigerians have freely given the former Lagos State Governor and National leader of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) their mandate.
The Usi-Ekiti born politician described the victory as well-deserved, and one built on years of hard work of a democrat, with evident credentials in both public and private administrations.
He expressed confidence in the ability of the president-elect to turn around the fortunes of the Country positively, as Nigerians look forward to the implementation of his visions for a new Nigeria, which are clearly stated in his policy document during the electioneering campaign
Ayorinde, also the immediate past Chairman, Ekiti State Urban Renewal Agency in Ekiti, prayed God to guide the president-elect aright with the desired wisdom in the task of transforming the nation for better.
Ayorinde, who is also the party’s House of Assembly candidate for Ido/Osi Constituency II, congratulated all elected Senators and Member House of Representatives in all the three Senatorial districts and Federal constituencies across Ekiti State.
He described the victory of all the party candidates as a true voice of Ekiti people, adding that the people of Ekiti are determined to reward Gov. Biodun Oyebanji for his numerous peoples friendly policies that made the victory possible
Ayorinde further appreciated the people of the State for their unwavering support and tireless work to deliver all the APC Senatorial and House of Representative candidates elect.
According to him, The victory is a clear indication of an election that was won valiantly with a singular determination to provide a vocal and effective representation for the good people of the State.
”I rejoice with Senators-Elect: Cyril Fasuyi, Michael Opeyemi Bamidele, and Yemi Adaramodu. I equally and unequivocally rejoice with Members House of Representatives-elects, Sola Fatoba, Biodun Omoleye, Akintunde Rotimi, AVM Rufus Adeniyi Ojuawo, Femi Bamisile and Kolawole Akinlayo for their resounding victories.
He described the development as an attestation to the party’s popularity and acceptability by the people of Ekiti.
He urged all the elected national assembly members to use their new respective offices to facilitate better dividends of democracy to the people and make the State an enviable one.
