The Vice Chancellor, Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti, Professor Edward Olanipekun has rejoiced with the entire university community, particularly, the Muslim ummah as they celebrate this year’s Eid El Fitri festival.
Professor Olanipekun, in his Sallah message congratulated Muslims on this auspicious occasion and called on them not to forget the lessons learnt during the holy month of Ramadan and charged them further to continue to exhibit the lessons of sacrifice and love for one another.
In a statement made available to journalists by Head, Directorate of Information and Corporate Affairs.Mr. Bode Olofinmuagun in Ado-Ekiti, the VC also admonished all to be resolute in preaching and maintenance of unity, peace and stability of the university community in particular and the Nation at large.
While wishing them Eid Mubarak and Barka de Sallah, the Vice Chancellor prayed that the Almighty God will continue to shower His abundant blessings and prosperity on every member of the university community.
