Ekiti NUJ Chair, Kayode Babatuyi Greets Journalists At Christmas           …  advises members on moderate celebration

The Chairman also extended greetings to leaders of the Union both at the State and National level.

In a statement signed by the Secretary of the Union, O’Seun Ogunsakin, the Chairman appreciated God for the grace that sustained the lives of Journalists to witness the yuletide.

He urged Christians Journalists to imbibe the culture of giving as demonstrated by God in giving His son as a gift to the world.

Babatuyi said though giving and love are often preached during Christmas, they should be the guiding principles for Christians who must not be seasonal practitioners of love and giving.

He added that the Holy Bible is replete with calls for Christians to show love and be generous especially to the needy and less privileged.

The NUJ chairman therefore admonished members to extend a hand of support to the needy during this season as this would create a sense of belonging for them.

Babatuyi who urged members of the Union to celebrate with modesty wished them a happy celebration.
