Ekiti Govt Assures Workers Of Improved Welfare

Dr. Olomojobi stated this during her familiarization tour of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, Ministry of Health, State Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA), Forestry Commission, and the Muslim Pilgrims Board. She engaged with staff to gain insights into their challenges and align their roles with the state’s broader development goals in line with the six pillars of the Present Administration.  She reaffirmed the administration’s priority on worker’s  welfare and urged employees to match the government’s support with dedication and hard work.

Dr. Olomojobi commended the Ministry of Environment for  maintaining a clean  and hygienic environment, while she further highlighted the importance of maintaining a clean and safe working environment, calling on all public  servants to ensure  that their offices are well-kept, which  is crucial for fostering a productive optimal result and hazard-free workspace. 

The Head of Service outlined her vision for an open-door administration, which includes the establishment of an information management system and a feedback mechanism. She noted that these initiatives aim to enhance communication and streamline service delivery within the public sector.

The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Environment, Mr. Babatunde Alokan, on behalf of others, expressed optimism about Dr. Olomojobi’s leadership, noting her administrative acumen and the positive impact expected from her initiatives. He assured her of their  full support in advancing the government’s objectives.

Dr. Olomojobi’s tour, which included visits to various departments within the ministries, underscores a renewed focus on the welfare of Ekiti State’s workforce and a commitment to creating an enabling environment for optimal performances.
