Ekiti Bureau Of Civic Orientation, Partners NOA In Promoting Education, Culture

The DG made this disclosure when visited by the State Director, National Orientation Agency, Mr. Akinola Adeyemi in her office in Ado – Ekiti, the State capital.

The Director General reiterated her commitment to the responsibilities entrusted to her and outlined her vision for the Bureau. She emphasized the need to enhance civic education programmes, strengthen grassroots engagement, and leverage media platforms to disseminate accurate information to the public.

The State Director, NOA accompanied by a delegation from the agency, expressed their appreciation to Governor Oyebanji for his astute decision in selecting a capable leader for the Bureau. They commended the Governor for recognizing the importance of civic orientation and citizenship in the development of Ekiti State.

In his remark, Mr. Akinola Adeyemi, commended Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s decision to appoint a competent individual as the Director General of Ekiti State Bureau of Civic Orientation and Citizenship.

“With the appointment, there is optimism that the Bureau will play a pivotal role in promoting civic education, citizen engagement, and good governance in Ekiti State under the Director General’s capable leadership”.

The NOA boss ighlighted the significance of the appointment in promoting good governance, citizen engagement, and the overall development of the state. He praised the Director General’s competence, experience, and dedication to public service, expressing confidence in her ability to lead the Bureau effectively.

The State Director also emphasized the importance of collaboration between NOA and the Bureau of Civic Orientation and Citizenship in advancing civic education and active citizenship in Ekiti State. He assured the Director General of the agency’s support and commitment to working closely with her in achieving their shared objectives.

The courtesy visit was described as a fruitful one  as both parties expressed optimism about the future of civic orientation and citizenship in Ekiti State. The State Director of NOA and his delegation left the Director General’s office, affirming their continued support and collaboration in achieving their shared goals.
