EID-EL-MAULUD: Bamisile Urges Prayers For Nigeria’s Speedy Security, Economic Rebirth

The ranking Federal lawmaker, urged Muslims Ummah to continually exhibit the sacrificial, honest and pious life of the Holy Prophet for personal spiritual rebirth and for the country to overcome the multifaceted challenges confronting it.

Bamisile said these in his congratulatory message to Muslims in Ekiti State and across Nigeria on the occasion of Eid-el-Maulud.

The Lawmaker representing Gbonyin/Ekiti East/Emure federal constituency averred that Nigeria needs consistent prayers of all faiths, especially Muslims, to entrench peace and security that can guarantee development of the Nigerian nation.

“The senseless corruption in the system, killings and abduction of innocent Nigerians won’t happen if we imbibe the holy life of Prophet Muhammad(SAW). No man with the fear of God will indulge in acts that could put his fellow compatriots into danger or death.

“What this celebration is reminding us is to ruminate and have a deep retrospection about the sacrifices made by the Holy Prophet for humanity to safe, so that we can continually seek personal spiritual cleansing that can bring attitudinal change required to build a good and virile nation”.

Bamisile rejoiced with Muslims in his constituency and urged them to pray ceaseless for the successes of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s administrations.

“In all ramifications, Prophet Muhammad was exemplary in character and service to Allah. He didn’t indulge in sins and criminal acts. He lived for God and humanity and that was why he was being celebrated globally by Muslim adherents.

“All Nigerian citizens must live a life worthy of celebration. We must run away from criminalities and actions that can jeopardise the collective good of the Nigerian citizens, so our following of the righteous path won’t be in vain”, Bamisile advised.
