In the spirit of Easter, Adegbola Adedipe, the acclaimed man of the people of Igede-Ekiti, doled out cash gift to the widows and indigents in his town. A man that has been described by old and young as a Messiah that God has sent to set his people free out of lack and poverty by making them to be self-reliant especially at this psychology period of the nation.

In his brief remark at a gathering put together in the name of Adegbola Adedipe programme at the Palace of Onigede of Igede-Ekiti to celebrate the widows and the indigents during this Easter, The General Chairman of Adegbola programme in the town, Mr. Gbenga Ojo, noted that Adegbola Adedipe is a man that doesn’t joke with anything that could bring progress and development to his people which according to him was the reason he’s celebrating his people again during this Easter.

Mr. Ojo urged everyone in the gathering to always pray for Adegbola for more blessings and progress for him to be able take his people to the promised land through the grace of God and that the needed support should be given to him when the need arises.

Also, the Central Coordinator of Adegbola Adedipe programme in Igede-Ekiti, Mr. Busuyi Olowookere, said there’s a time that Adegbola Adedipe came around to tell his people that he would like to teach the youths of Igede-Ekiti how to fish rather than giving them fish to eat which he said was done and that those people trained then have now become masters in various fields,  working on their own.

Buttressing that was Mr.  Famusan Oloidi Julius who attested to the fact that Mr  Adegbola Adedipe has trained several people in Igede-Ekiti how to convert waste to wealth through skills acquisition, saying what Adegbola has given them is much more than money.

“We were trained on how to make locust beans, soap, body cream, tye and dye among others. We were given certificates and he equally registered us into a cooperative society. None of his age mates in the town has ever done what Adegbola has been doing for us. Wherever he is going, we are ready to follow him”. Famusan said.

A Coordinator in Adegbola’s Ward which is Ward A in Igede-Ekiti, Mr. Odunayo Fasuru, who claimed to be one of the pioneer members of Adegbola’s programme which started about two years ago said Adegbola has been doing fantastically well for his people. He however advised him to always carry everybody working for him along in all his programmes for everyone to be on the same page with him.

A personal friend to Mr. Adegbola Adedipe, Mr. Ojo Babawale Bayode, said giving to people has always been Adegbola’s attribute ever since he knows him.

“We can only continue to pray for him because I believe if he joins politics and has the opportunity to represent his people, I believe this is what he will continue to do which is really good for the community and the society at large. I urge him to continue in the act”.  Bayode advised.

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries,  Mrs Owolabi and Deaconess Kehinde Olorunyomi, who couldn’t hide their Joy appreciated Mr. Adegbola Adedipe for the gesture and prayed that God will continue to elevate him and take him to his promised land.
