EARTH DAY: Foundation Donates Recycling Bins To Ekiti Ministry Of Environment

The commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Erelu Tosin Aluko -Ajisafe said the gesture was hailed as a pivotal moment in the state’s commitment to cleanliness and ecological preservation.

The commissioner who was represented by the Permanent Secretary  Mr. Babatunde Alokan  lauded GAAF’s dedication to the “Make Ekiti Clean” initiative, stressing the importance of such collaborations in realizing the state’s environmental goals.

Erelu aluko- ajisafe  assured GAAF that the donated bins would be effectively utilized, contributing to the enhancement of waste management strategies across the state.

She urged the foundation to expand its outreach to other strategic areas, amplifying the impact of their noble initiative.

Speaking on behalf of GAAF, the founder Mrs. Dotun Alabi underscored the organization’s unwavering focus on safeguarding children’s well-being, a driving force behind their environmental advocacy. 

Alabi  emphasized the symbolic significance of the recycling bins, portraying them as catalysts for a larger recycling movement aimed at nurturing a cleaner and healthier environment for future generations.

Highlighting the broader implications of their donation, Mrs. Alabi hinted at forthcoming initiatives, indicating GAAF’s enduring commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainability.
