Council Chair, Dr. Leye Adeniji Describes Omotoso’s Death As Shocking     … Condoles Gov. Oyebanji, Family, Party Members

The Executive Chairman of Ekameta LCDA, Hon Dr. Leye Adeniji has described the sudden death of the  Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, Barrister Paul Omotoso as shocking and disturbing.

The Chairman made this known in a statement made available to newsmen in Ado-Ekiti, the State capital on Saturday.

Dr. Leye said the loss is not only to his immediate family but a heavy blow to the progressive family in Ekiti State and Nigeria as a whole.

In a tribute to the deceased, Dr Adeniji noted that the late Barrister Omotoso was a Leader per excellence who demonstrated consistently the principles of diligence, humility, accountability, dedication, dependence and dutifulness.

“Under his administration as the Party chairman, the party and indeed the state witnessed tremendous success and development in all areas but one of the greatest amongst the many wonderful achievements was the continuity of the progressive party in the helms of affairs in Ekiti State and back-to-back victory at the polls.

“We, the progressive family would eternally miss this great icon and a wonderful achiever”.

Ekameta Boss therefore prayed  God to grant the soul of late Barrister Omotoso a peaceful rest, comfort his immediate family and the entire good people of Imesi Ekiti.

He equally commiserates with the Governor of Ekiti State, His Excellency, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji BAO and his cabinet members as well as the entire APC political family who have lost a dependable party man and a leader at this time when his contribution is needed in achieving the shared prosperity vision of the BAO administration.

Dr Adeniji said the late chairman was a jolly good fellow and that the vacuum he left behind in the APC political family would be difficult to fill.
