Boko Haram Attackers Killed After Invading Presidential House

Security sources confirmed the development to counter-insurgency expert Zagazola Makama, stating that the situation is now under control.

A circulating video shows responding forces engaging the attackers, resulting in several fatalities and arrests. Intelligence reports indicate that some of the captured fighters may provide critical information for future operations against the insurgents.

Makama praised the DGSSIE for its decisive action, stating, “Chad’s security forces demonstrated efficiency in neutralizing the threat and safeguarding government assets.”

While the authorities have not disclosed casualty figures, reports suggest heightened security measures, including a temporary network shutdown, to prevent further breaches.

The incident highlights ongoing security challenges in the Lake Chad region, where Boko Haram remains active despite regional counter-insurgency efforts.
