Bamisile Lauds Oyebanji for Appointing Justice Ogunmoye as Ekiti Acting CJ

Ogunmoye, from Omuo Ekiti, in Ekiti East Local Government, was sworn in by Governor Oyebanji, on Monday, to replace the deceased predecessor, Justice John Oyewole Adeyeye, who died last week during a protracted illness.

In a statement issued in Abuja, on Wednesday, Bamisile, who is representing Ekiti South Federal Constituency II, saluted the governor for the appointment, saying Justice Ogunmoye will bring his wealth of experience as a respectable judicial officer to add value to jurisprudence in the state.

He described Justice Ogunmoye’s elevation as a product of hardwork, dedication to duties and incorruptible character expected of a serving judicial Officer, expressing confidence that his appointment will be a watershed for the full radicalization of the Ekiti bench.

Bamisile urged Justice Ogunmoye to justify the confidence reposed in him by ensuring speedy and incorruptible administration of justice that would make the judiciary truly the last hope and bastion of the common man.

“Appointment of the Chief Judge was practically bereft of political consideration, it was a product of hardwork, dedication to duty, competence and display of mastery of judicature that justice Ogunmoye had demonstrated over the years on the Bench.

“I want to on behalf of Ekiti East/Gbonyin/Emure Federal Constituency, which I represent in the National Assembly, appreciate Governor Biodun Oyebanji on the appointment of this exemplary judicial Officer to man Ekiti judiciary.

“It is my fervent hope that Justice Ogunmoye shall deploy every judicial arsenal, at the realm of human, mental and intellectual resources available, to bring radical development to the judiciary.

“He should during his tenure set a template that will distinguish the State’s judiciary and make it a beacon in the comity of judiciary in the country”, he said.
