Bamisile Commiserates Ekiti Deputy Gov On Mother’s Death

The ranking Federal Lawmaker asserted that several accounts of good deeds and outpouring of affections by community leaders since her passing, were suffice to console the Adegboye Royal Family on the passing of their matriarch.

The late Madam Adegboye died early hours of Tuesday, after a brief illness.

Consoling the family on the death of the community leader, Bamisile, in a statement issued by his Media office in Abuja, on Wednesday, commiserated with the Deputy Governor and her siblings for losing such a devoted and caring mother.

The lawmaker representing Ekiti South Federal Constituency II, added that the deceased was a supportive wife and great women mobiliser during her time.

Besides being a venerable community leader and royal personality, Bamisile said the late Madam Adegboye lived a selfless, honest and honourable life, which earned her respect across the strata of Ikere Ekiti.

“On behalf family, constituents and political admirers all over the state, I commiserate with our loyal and dependable Deputy Governor, Mrs Monisade Afuye on the death of her mother.

“Mama has joined the world beyond, but she lived a fulfilled life and died with dignity. Most consoling was the fact that she died at the age of 97, which was riped enough to wipe our tears.

“I congratulate the Deputy Governor for seeing the dignified end of her mother. Some didn’t have this opportunity.

“I want to say that I share from her grief at this trying hours knowing full well that the death has left a void in the children’s hearts and those of her admirers across Ikere Ekiti.

“I pray to God to grant her eternal rest and console the family she left behind”, the state said.
