Assemblyman-Elect Condoles Egbeyemi family

Hon. Ayorinde.

The Assemblyman-elect (APC-Ido/Osi II) in Ekiti, Mr Yomi Ayorinde, has described as ‘shocking and sad’ the death of Chief Bisi Egbeyemi, the immediate past Deputy Governor of Ekiti.

Egbeyemi, who was a former Ado-Ekiti Local Government chairman, died on Saturday at the age of 78.

Ayorinde, in a statement issued to newsmen in Ado-Ekiti, said, “I received the sad news of the death of Chief Bisi Egbeyemi, the former deputy governor to Dr Kayode Fayemi, between 2018 to 2022,“ with great shock and grief.

“I condole with our party, APC, his boss, Dr Kayode Fayemi, and the incumbent governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, and the entire family, it is never easy losing any loved one.

“Anyone who has met or worked with Baba Bisi Egbeyemi, as we fondly called him before this unfortunate incident, will know that not only Ekiti, but entire Nigeria has lost an industrious, gentle and a leader of leaders. This is one death, too many,” he said.

“I want to, on behalf of the people of my constituency and my supporters across Ido/Osi II, condole with the state government, former Gov. Kayode Fayemi, his successor, Biodun Oyebanji, all Ado-Ekiti indigenes and Nigeria as a whole.
