APC Stalwart, Agbalajobi Congratulates Tinubu, Akpabio

A stalwart of the All Progressives Congress  APC and one of the gubernatorial aspirants during the last governorship election in Ekiti State, Dr. Segun Agbalajobi, has congratulated the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR on his emergence as President.

Agbalajobi, in a statement made available to journalists in Ekitit described Asiwaju as a leader per excellence, saying his emergence as president of Nigeria at the time when nothing seems to be working again in the country is divine. 

According to the statement, “you have always been a torchbearer and beacon of hope. You have come to right the wrongs.

“I salute your courage and unwavering commitment to reposition our great nation for better. You have been an agent of change, a vanguard of transformation and an advocate of true federalism.

“You have made your back available for many to climb in pursuit of their destinies. Even when others pushed away the ladder after climbing up, you held it strongly for others to join. 

“You remain a leader that generations yet unborn will live to reckon with. I pray God to continue to spare and strengthen you for the arduous task of setting Nigerians free from squalor, lack and poverty which has been your goal over the years”.

Dr. Agbalajobi also extends his goodwill message to the new Senate President of Nigeria, Senator Godwil Akpabio who was just sworn in as the Senate President of the 10th National Assembly.

Noting that both Asiwaju and Akpabio are apostles of true democracy when it comes to Executive and legislative matters, the APC chieftain expressed confidence in the leadership of the President, Asiwaju and the Senate President, Akpabio. He  believes that they will not betray the confidence  the entire people of this great country reposed in them at reshaping the country for positive change that has been the yearning of all progressive-minded Nigerians.
