Airlines crash, kill 38 – Officials

The aircraft, which had 67 individuals on board, went down under circumstances yet to be fully explained.

Deputy Prime Minister Kanat Bozumbayev described the situation as grave. “The situation is not very good, 38 dead,” Bozumbayev told Russia’s Interfax news agency.

Details regarding the cause of the crash and the condition of the remaining passengers are still emerging.

Authorities have launched an investigation to determine what led to the disaster.
