AFCSC Urges Kaduna Residents Not To Entertain Fear

The Armed Forces Command and Staff College (AFCSC) Jaji, has urged residents in certain parts of Kaduna State not to panic over massive movement of military personnel and equipment during its four-day field exercise.

A statement by the College Pubic Relations  Officer, Maj. Umar Adamu, in Kaduna, says the exercise was expected to hold between June 10 and June 14.

According to him, the field exercise will take place in Wusono -Anguwan Lauya and Camp Salaya general area, Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Adamu said the AFCSC would conduct a field training  exercise code named “UBIAK-ISIN” for the students of Junior Course 95 of the college.

He said there would be massive movement of military personnel and equipment to and from the exercise area, during the days.

“In  view of that, the general public, especially people living around the exercise area, are advised to remain calm and not to panic on sighting movement of troops and  equipment or hearing of explosives and small arms.

According to him, necessary preventive measures have been put in place for the general security and safety of the area.

“The general public is equally implored to keep off the vicinity of the exercise during this period,” he said.
