The Pastor in charge of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Ekiti Region 25, Pastor Tunde Abdullahi has called on the church to intensify prayers for total restoration, peace and open doors for the Nation.
Leading a prayer walk/programme tagged, Ekiti Prayer Rally on Friday, Pastor Abdullahi noted that the prayer rally which commemorates the 83rd birthday of the General Overseer of RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye was meant to attract revival and breakthrough to Nigeria and the Church of God.
He expressed optimism that the nation and the church would not remain the same after the prayer rally, saying if there’re people to pray, there is also a God to answer in line with the Biblical injunction that when the people humble themselves and seek the face of God, He would answer their prayers.
The Cleric prayed God to continue to strengthen the General Overseer of RCCG and keep him in faith until he finishes well and strong.
He stated that his plan for the RCCG which clocked 50 years in Ekiti about two weeks ago was a steady progress, unprecedented revival, more of such prayer rallies and harvest of souls in line with the vision and mission of the Church.
Highpoint of the programme was prayer walks from Fajuyi area and Ekiti Parapo pavilion to the Headquarters of the Church at bank road, prayer sessions for the nation, the State, families, the church, the General Overseer, his family and individuals as well as drama presentations and soul lifting songs ministration by different Ministers of the Church extraction.
