2023: Tinubu’s Camp Receives Boost As Group Shuts Down Lagos, Vows To Work For APC Victory

As part of the build-up activities towards the realisation of the 2023 presidential election for a candidate picked from the Southwest, one of the leading movement, ‘Tinubu Not Negotiable, (TNN23)’, at the weekend shuts down Lagos for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In an event looked more of a victory carnival, TNN members in their white attires set aside other engagements, trooped out in their thousands to show their supports for the standard-bearer of the APC despite the downpour.

 The programme, held at Ijora Olopa, was attended by members of the group from across the 36 states of the federation.

Speaking at the ceremony, the National Coordinator of Nigeria New Reformation Unity Forum and TNN’23, Hon. Mutiu Kunle Okunola popularly known as MKO, described Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a pillar of politics in Nigeria and also one who has long ago in every spheres built leaders for the betterment of Nigeria.

Hon. Okunola said, the APC presidential candidate is someone who doesn’t think of himself alone, but concerns about the welfare of all the people across the country.

His words: “Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is not just a leader but a leader with qualities and passion. I have known him not just today, he’s an open-minded person who God has endowed with a large heart. He is the one that God Almighty used to take Lagos State from the scratch to the present enviable stage.

“Up till today, Lagos State remains the only state in Nigeria that serves the rest states in terms of accommodating and accepting people from other states of the federation and government must make provisions for them and see to their well-being which Asiwaju had laid down long ago when he was in government and still relevant till this moment.

The APC chieftain who predicted a landslide victory for the APC’s candidate come next year’s election affirmed that Senator Bola Tinubu remains their choice to become the next president of Nigeria after the expiration of this present administration of president Muhammadu Buhari.

“We’re very sure that he (Asiwaju) will fix Nigeria economy back if given the chance come February 2023 presidential election, because he has done it in Lagos and he’s ready to replicate same modern Nigeria that Nigerians desire across the length and breadth of the country.

“We’ve resolved in our minds and determined to support the APC presidential candidate which we’ve been doing in the last three years without collecting a dime from anybody and we’ll not rest on our oars until our dreams of having president from the Southwest state comes through,” Hon. Okunola stated.
