10TH ASSEMBLY PRINCIPAL OFFICERS: Ekiti NIPR Felicitates New Senate Leader, Bamidele

The Ekiti State chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, NIPR has congratulated the Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele, representing Ekiti Central Senatorial District, following his recent emergence as the Senate Majority Leader in the Tenth National Assembly.

 A Statement by the Ekiti NIPR chapter which was signed by its Chairman Anthony Adesua and the Public Relations Executive  Mr. Ayodele Abere, described the emergence of Senator M.O.Bamidele as the Senate Leader of the tenth National Assembly as a welcome development going by the amiable Senator’s antecedents.

According to the statement, “aside being a round peg in a round hole, Nigeria needs the like of Opeyemi Bamidele who had paid his dues as a respected Students leader and an experienced professional and politician in such a sensitive position at this crucial moment of the nation when Nigerians demand respectable, intelligent and  individuals with much integrity to man the affairs of key sectors.

“Your emergence was as a result of your political sagacity laced with certain experiences and competencies needed to occupy such a sensitive position in the Senate, the NIPR in Ekiti State therefore promised to ensure that necessary support is given by all our members to ensure you succeed in the new assignment”. The statement read.

The Iyin-Ekiti born Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele, has always been the pride of Ekiti sons and daughters in every position he has occupied and there’s no doubt that he will use his highly exalted position at the Senate to make better legislations that would attract good things to Ekiti in particular and Nigeria as a whole.
