Peller Breaks Silence After Lekki–Epe Expressway Crash

In a video that later went viral on social media, the content creator admitted wrongdoing and appealed to Nigerians for forgiveness, saying his actions were regrettable and would not be repeated.

“I’m sorry, Nigerians. Please forgive me. I will never do that again. I’m very sorry. For now, I am on medication, and once I’m done, I will be back online,” he said.

The incident reportedly occurred on Sunday, December 14, 2025, during a live stream in which Peller was allegedly seen driving recklessly. The action was said to have led to a serious accident along the Lekki–Epe Expressway, raising public concern over safety on the busy route.

Confirming the arrest, the Lagos State Police Command said the influencer’s conduct posed a serious threat to public safety. Police authorities disclosed that the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation.

The command added that Peller would be arraigned in court once investigations are concluded.

Reacting to the incident, the Commissioner of Police, Olohundare Jimoh, cautioned social media influencers and content creators against engaging in or promoting reckless behaviour online, warning that such actions would attract strict legal consequences.

The development also comes amid reports surrounding Peller’s recent breakup with his girlfriend, Jarvis. Jarvis had earlier confirmed the end of the relationship, citing the influencer’s struggles with emotional control as a key reason for her decision.
