The Ekiti State University community is elated with Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s release of the outstanding December 2023 subvention, a gesture that will alleviate the institution’s financial burden and enable it to meet its obligations to staff.
Professor Babatola Ayodele, the Vice Chancellor, expressed delight with the timely intervention, noting that the monthly subventions have been released promptly since the beginning of Oyebanji’s administration.
He assured the Governor of the university’s continued support, stating that the gesture will put smiles on the faces of staff during the yuletide season.
Meanwhile, the university community has commended the Governor for his commitment to supporting the institution, and looks forward to continued collaboration.
