2027: Hashim Gains Ground in Osun as Residents Question Adeleke’s Support for Tinubu

…Influencers in Oyo, Lagos, Kwara adopt Accord presidential agenda

The growing support has featured prominently in political discussions on radio stations and social media platforms across the state.

Callers on radio stations, including Diamond FM, Unique FM and King FM, have reportedly expressed preference for Hashim’s presidential agenda amid ongoing debate over the governor’s political alignment.

Similarly, videos circulating on TikTok and Facebook show content creators identified as Almaruf, Doki Dorcas, The God, Unusual Challenges, among others, expressing support for Hashim while criticising the governor’s position.

In one of the videos, Doki Dorcas urged Osun residents to support Hashim’s presidential ambition. In another, Almaruf argued that voters who supported Accord during the governorship election should not abandon their earlier political choice to return to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

“We rejected APC by voting for Accord, and we won’t return to our vomit,” Almaruf said in the video.

The conversation has also extended beyond Osun, with social media influencers in Oyo, Kwara and Lagos reportedly promoting Hashim’s presidential agenda.

Supporters interpret the development as an indication of growing engagement with Hashim’s candidacy across the South-West.

The South-West mobilisation effort is also said to have a numerical target. The South-West Coordinator of the Gbenga Hashim Solidarity Movement, Alhaji Abass Olaniyi, has set a target of attracting three million votes for Hashim across the region.

For now, the dispute over Governor Adeleke’s alignment with President Tinubu has opened a wider conversation about party loyalty, political leadership and voters’ freedom to make independent choices in the 2027 presidential election.
