Ekiti NAPTAN Commends President Tinubu for Approval of 3,000 PTA Teachers’ Appointments

The commendation was made by the Chairman, Ekiti State NAPTAN, Elder Adesoji Adeusi, on behalf of the entire Executive and membership of the Association.

Describing the approval as a landmark decision, Elder Adeusi stated that the President has righted a long-standing injustice and brought long-overdue relief to thousands of patriotic Nigerians who have given their best to the education sector without commensurate recognition.

“For over 25 years, these PTA Teachers have laboured selflessly, shaping the minds of future leaders in our Federal Unity Schools despite the uncertainties surrounding their status. Mr. President’s approval is not just an appointment. It is an act of justice, compassion, and statesmanship,” Elder Adeusi stated.

“This singular decision by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has restored hope, dignity, and confidence in the teaching profession. It is a clear demonstration that this administration listens, cares, and rewards dedication and sacrifice.”

The NAPTAN Chairman noted that the decision will significantly boost morale, improve instructional delivery, and stabilize the workforce in Federal Unity Schools nationwide.

He added that by absorbing these experienced teachers into the formal system, the Federal Government has strengthened the foundation of basic and secondary education in Nigeria.

“Education remains the bedrock of national development. With this bold step, Mr. President has reinforced the Renewed Hope Agenda by investing in the very people who build the nation, our teachers,” he said.

On behalf of parents, proprietors, and stakeholders in Ekiti State, Elder Adeusi pledged the Association’s unflinching support for the President’s educational policies and the broader Renewed Hope Agenda.

“We thank President Tinubu for this historic intervention. The Ekiti NAPTAN family stands firmly with the administration and will continue to partner with government at all levels to ensure quality education for every Nigerian child,” he concluded.
