CIPA URGES NIGERIANS TO REGISTER FOR PVC AHEAD OF 2027 ELECTIONS, BACKS TINUBU’S RENEWED HOPE AGENDA

The CVR will run from Monday, May 11, 2026, to Friday, July 10, 2026. In a statement jointly signed by CIPA National Coordinator, Mrs. Abigail Olagbaye, and Media Director, Mr. Ayodele Abere ANIPR, the group said voter registration is a patriotic obligation and essential for protecting democratic progress.

“Democracy is not a spectator sport,” the statement said. “Every APC supporter who fails to register hands the opposition a free vote. We cannot afford complacency. The Renewed Hope Agenda needs champions at the ballot box.”

CIPA declared its full support for the continued leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stating that the Renewed Hope Agenda provides the most credible framework for Nigeria’s economic recovery, security, and institutional reform.

“The Renewed Hope Agenda is not rhetoric, it is a deliberate, phased framework for rebuilding Nigeria’s economy, strengthening its institutions, and improving the lives of everyday citizens,” the group said.

“President Tinubu and the APC have laid the groundwork. What Nigeria needs now is the mandate to finish the job.”

The organisation said it is mobilizing at the grassroots across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory to ensure APC supporters, first-time voters, young Nigerians, women, and underserved communities are registered before the deadline.

“Every PVC secured is a vote for continuity. Every unregistered supporter is a gap the opposition will exploit,” the statement concluded.

CIPA reaffirmed its commitment to peaceful, lawful, and issue-based political engagement in support of the APC and the Tinubu administration.
