BEIJING – China is making strides in balancing domestic development with global cooperation, Ambassador Sun said.
With 69.33 million hectares of land afforested, China is modernizing its economy while promoting peace and south-south cooperation.
Despite challenges posed by its large population and regional disparities, China aims to achieve socialist modernization by 2035 and become a moderately developed country by 2050.
To get there, China will deepen reforms and expand its opening-up policy.
