
The Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, Oba Adeyemo Adejugbe Aladesanmi III, has urged Muslims to pray for peace and security in Nigeria during the Eid-el-Fitri celebrations.
In a goodwill message, Oba Adejugbe emphasized that development thrives in a peaceful environment and called on Muslims to live by Islamic virtues. He also appealed to politicians to conduct themselves peacefully in the upcoming Ekiti governorship election, saying Ekiti belongs to all.
While congratulating the muslim faithful for the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan,the monarch advised them to continue to live in accordance with moral principles,and the cardinal virtues of Islam
The Royal father advocated for love, generosity, tolerance, sacrifice which were preached and practiced during the month of Ramadan
The Ewi added that acts of love and kindness should be extended to the down trodden in the society during the celebration
As the governorship election is approaching in Ekiti State,the traditional ruler appealed to politicians to be peaceful in the conduct of all the election activities, adding that Ekiti state belongs to everyone and nothing should disrupt the peace of the land
Oba Adejugbe prayed that as the end of Ramadan is being celebrated, the spirit of gratitude, peace and generosity shall remain with everyone
